Bokai Software Components License Agreement

By installing, copying, downloading, accessing or otherwise using any Bokai software components, you agree to be bound by the terms of this License Agreement.

Users are allowed to use the trial versions of Bokai software components for evaluation purposes only.

For application development purposes, each license of Bokai software components allows you to use the software on one development or end-user computer.

When used by end-users in third party applications (e.g., Microsoft Word), each license of Bokai software components allows you to use the software on one computer.

A license is a perpetual license for using the software.

Distributing Runtime Files with Your Applications

When used in a server environment, including web servers, Bokai software components are licensed on a per server machine basis, each license covering one server machine, irrespective of the number of CPUs and the number of accessing clients. Server machines in a staging area or as backups in a high availability configuration do not require separate licenses as long as they do not serve as development machines at the same time.

When used to develop standalone/client applications (explicitly excluded here are middleware, server software, utilities, programming tools and components), a single (developer) license gives you the right to redistribute the runtime files along with your applications on a royalty-free basis, as long as your applications have significant added value.

Bokai warrants that it owns the intellectual properties underlying its software and has properly licensed and acknowledged any third party intellectual properties when they are a part of its software.

Bokai Corporation makes no other warranties, express or implied, and specifically disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. In no event shall Bokai Corporation or its suppliers be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages even if Bokai Corporation has been advised of the possibility of the same.
